HE Ambassadeur de France en Israël, Mr. Frédéric Journès, Consul general de France, Mr. Stéphane Toulet, and Counsellor of the Ambassador for cooperation and culture, Mr. Georges Diener visited the University of Haifa on the 15th of May.
They met Prof. Gur Alroey who briefly introduced our university. Later on Prof. Uriel Simonsohn, Head of the Haifa Laboratory for Religious Studies introduced his laboratory established in 2020 with the goal of promoting positive social and civic change. Finally Prof. Dan Tchernov, Director of the Mediterranean Sea Research Center of Israel has briefed the visitors on the latest news on food security and sustainable mariculture.
