HAIFellow 2025-2026: Hosting Distinguished International Scholars
The University of Haifa invites its faculties to host eminent international scholars (non-Israeli residents) through the HAIFellow 2025-2026 Program, an initiative designed to enhance global academic collaboration. Selected scholars—renowned for their multidisciplinary expertise—will engage in substantive activities (e.g., seminars, workshops, and research partnerships) during stays of at least 10 days between 2025 and July 31, 2026. Funding of up to €22,000 per scholar (allocated per faculty: 2 slots for Social Sciences, Humanities, and Social Welfare & Health Sciences; 1 slot for Law, Education, Natural Sciences, Marine Sciences, and Design) exclusively covers airfare and Haifa accommodation (max €1,000/night).
Deans must submit nominations via an online form and a cover letter to Tzohar1@univ.haifa.ac.il, with expenses processed strictly through SAP purchase requests (no reimbursements). All promotional materials must feature the grant’s branded title (e.g., *”Faculty of Social Sciences 2025-2026 HAIFellow”*), and final reports are due by August 15, 2026.
