The Seoul International Summer School I (SISS I) 2026, hosted by the University of Seoul, will take place from July 1 to July 29, 2026.

This short-term academic and cultural program offers an immersive experience that blends English-taught, credit-bearing academic courses, intensive Korean language instruction, and a wide range of cultural and social activities designed to help students fully engage with Korean society. Participants may choose between two academic tracks—Business from a Korean Perspective or Korean Studies—and take up to two courses within their selected track, with each course worth 3 credits (a total of 6 credits equivalent to 10 ECTS).

In addition, students will enroll in level-based Korean language classes, ranging from beginner to advanced. Beyond the classroom, the program features field trips, welcome and farewell events, “Design Your Own Seoul” free-exploration days, and interaction with Korean Peer Advocates, creating a strong academic and cultural exchange environment. The program is open to students from all universities and academic backgrounds.

Applications open on February 1, 2026, with nomination and fee deadlines varying by partner and non-partner institutions, and program fees covering tuition, cultural activities, and on-campus housing. Students are encouraged to review the full details on the official SISS I website.

Seoul International Summer School II (SISS II) 2026 takes place from August 5 to 21, 2026, in Seoul, South Korea. 

While SISS I is a four-week program offering two academic tracks, SISS II features special lectures on contemporary Korean topics alongside structured Korean language courses.

Study Abroad Scholarships in the U.S. – New York & Florida | 2026–2028 Academic Terms

Applications are now open for the 2026–2028 Study Abroad Scholarship Programs in the United States, offered in partnership with the State University of New York and Florida Atlantic University. The programs combine high-quality academic training with a meaningful international experience in New York and Florida, providing participants with both professional advancement and personal growth.  SILK Summer School (Sustainability, Innovation, Legacy, Knowledge).

Students are invited to apply for the SILK Summer School (Sustainability, Innovation, Legacy, Knowledge), taking place in Como, Italy, from June 3–11.

The program offers an immersive experience combining:

  • Design Thinking Mastery: A hands-on laboratory where participants solve real-world territorial challenges using the “CreActionality” approach, exploring collaborative social dynamics.
  • Experiential Learning: Field visits across the Lake Como district, including high-end textile manufacturers and regenerated industrial hubs, providing a firsthand look at how post-industrial spaces are reimagined and the social impact of these transitions.
  • Multidisciplinary Approach: Exploring the intersection of cultural heritage, sustainable development, and community identity in one of Italy’s most iconic regions.

Fulbright International Writing Program – Opportunity for Students

The Fulbright International Writing Program offers students the opportunity to participate in an international academic writing experience that brings together participants from around the world. The program is designed to strengthen writing skills, encourage cross-cultural exchange, and support students interested in developing their academic or creative writing in an international setting.

Opportunities for Graduate Students

Minerva provides funding and research opportunities for PhD students and postdoctoral researchers interested in international collaboration between Israel and Germany. Through fellowships, research grants, and scientific programs, graduate researchers can conduct high-level research at leading institutes within the Max Planck Society while gaining valuable international academic experience.

PhD Programs for incoming students

The Idit Fellowship is a four-year multidisciplinary program at the University of Haifa aimed at advancing the next generation of social science researchers in Israel. The program is composed of a select group of PhD students at the Herta & Paul Amir Faculty of Social Sciences. The group acts as a cross-field community to enhance each participant’s personal research and professional development.  The goals of the program are to boost the level of training and research of program participants to a level comparable to leading international institutions with the aim that its members will successfully integrate into Israeli and international academies.

Manfred Lahnstein Post-Doctoral Fellowship 2026–2027 – Call for Applications

The Bucerius Institute for Research of Contemporary German History and Society at the University of Haifa invites applications for the prestigious Manfred Lahnstein Post-Doctoral Fellowship for the 2026–2027 academic year. This one-year fellowship (minimum 10 months) offers a grant of 90,000 NIS and provides scholars with the opportunity to conduct innovative research on 20th-century German history, culture, and society, with particular interest in projects engaging the Middle East. Fellows will be based in Haifa, participate in the Institute’s academic activities, and deliver the annual Lahnstein Lecture. The program is open to early-career researchers who received their Ph.D. from October 2021 onward, or who will complete their degree by October 2026. Applications, including a research proposal, CV, and supporting documents, must be submitted in English by April 12, 2026.

Summer Lithuanian Language & Culture Course 2026

 The call for applications for the Summer Lithuanian Language and Culture Course at Klaipėda University is taking place in person from July 2–31, 2026.

The state-funded Foundation Course, supported by the Education Exchanges Support Foundation of Lithuania, is open to:

  • Students

  • Academic staff (lecturers)

  • Researchers

  • Individuals of Lithuanian origin residing abroad

Selected participants will receive a state scholarship of 962 EUR. Participation in state-funded courses is possible up to three times. Applicants must have Lithuanian language proficiency not exceeding C1 level. Selection is based on academic motivation and a recommendation.

International Summer School 2026 at the University of Connecticut

The University of Connecticut (UConn) invites students from around the world to join its International Summer School 2026, offering a new series of three-credit courses designed to create a truly global classroom experience. Students will explore timely and relevant topics alongside peers from diverse international backgrounds, combining academic enrichment with meaningful cultural exchange. Participants will benefit from dedicated, concierge-level support from UConn’s GTDI team, sustainable dining at Green Restaurant Certified halls, and a prime location within easy reach of New York City and Boston, with organized weekend excursions included. The Seoul Visiting Student Program (SVSP), offered by the University of Seoul, provides students with the opportunity to study in Seoul, South Korea, for one or two semesters (up to one academic year) as fee-paying visiting students.

Designed for students who wish to experience academic life in Korea without a full degree commitment, SVSP allows participants to enroll in up to 20 credits per semester during the spring or fall terms. While the majority of courses are taught in Korean, the program also offers a variety of English-taught courses, enabling students from diverse academic backgrounds to tailor their studies. Applicants must have completed at least two semesters at their home institution, hold a minimum GPA of 2.5/4.0 (or equivalent), and demonstrate a good command of Korean or English (no official language test scores required). Tuition fees range from 2,156,000 to 3,396,600 KRW per semester (approximately USD 1,500–2,350), depending on the department, and are paid directly to the University of Seoul. While on-campus housing is not guaranteed, students may choose from several off-campus accommodation options.

Application deadlines are May 31 for the Fall semester and November 30 for the Spring semester, with candidates required to complete an online application and submit supporting documents by email. This program offers a flexible and enriching pathway for students seeking international academic experience in one of Asia’s most dynamic cities.

International Internship Pilot Program (IIPP) – 2026

Students interested in gaining global research experience are invited to explore the 2026 International Internship Pilot Program in Taiwan. The program offers placements with leading research teams, allowing participants to develop academic and professional skills while experiencing Taiwan’s rich culture and dynamic innovation environment. Eligible undergraduate and graduate students can apply for internships lasting 28–90 days, beginning between June and December 2026.

The University of Oregon offers the International Crisis Response Scholarship (ICRS), a unique award designed to support international students who have faced humanitarian crises, natural disasters, or conflicts in their home countries. This scholarship provides not only financial assistance but also personal and academic support to help students adjust and thrive in their new environment.
