Division of Global Engagement

The University of Haifa’s Division of Global Engagement and International School invites senior faculty to apply for grants of NIS 15,000 to develop Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) courses with international partner universities for the 2025-2026 academic year.

COIL courses use online platforms to connect students and faculty across borders, fostering cross-cultural collaboration, enhancing digital skills, and enriching curricula. Eligible proposals must involve at least 8 weeks of joint activities in accredited undergraduate (BA) courses, with collaboration integrated into assignments, discussions, or projects.

Deadlines:

• July 1, 2025 (Fall Semester)

• September 28, 2025 (Spring Semester)

Funding is contingent on minimum enrollment of 15 students and supports teaching assistance, technical resources, and materials (not faculty salaries). A comprehensive guide with best practices, course examples, and FAQs is included.
