Israel Institute,Visiting Faculty Program
The Visiting Faculty Program provides full financial support for Israeli scholars to spend a sabbatical year teaching about modern Israel at leading universities in the United States. This program is designed for experienced academics who wish to expand their international teaching experience while contributing to the academic study of Israel abroad. Participants receive comprehensive funding to cover their stay, allowing them to focus on teaching, research, and professional networking. This initiative is part of the Israel Institute’s mission to advance the academic study of Israel globally.
ERASMUS+ Mobility Program 2025-2026: Call for Academic and Administrative Staff
We are pleased to announce the opening of a new call for academic and administrative staff within the framework of the ERASMUS+ program for the academic year 2025-2026.

Visiting Faculty
The deadline to apply as a visiting faculty is September 30, 2025. We are looking for faculty who teach at a high level of English. While visiting Berkeley, visiting faculty teach courses in a range of departments.
Visiting Scholars
Applications for the visiting scholars program will be reviewed on a rolling basis, with a final deadline of April 1, 2026. The Institute will consider applications for a semester or for the full academic year.

MIT-Israel Seed Funds for Faculty Collaboration 2025-2026 Call for Proposals
The MIT Center for International Studies is pleased to announce the opening of the 2025–2026 Global Seed Funds (GSF) cycle, with applications due on December 16, 2025. The program supports early-stage collaborations between MIT faculty and international researchers, providing up to $30,000 to help teams meet in person, develop joint projects, and build long-term partnerships. Many projects funded through GSF have led to publications, new grant awards, and lasting academic collaborations. MIT faculty are strongly encouraged to involve undergraduate and graduate students as active members of their teams.

Lithuanian Language and Culture Winter Academy 2026
We are delighted to invite students, lecturers, and researchers to join the Lithuanian Language and Culture Winter Academy 2026, organized by the Center of Lithuanian Studies and Foreign Languages at Klaipėda University.
From January 5 to February 3, 2026, participants will have the opportunity to study online or in-person in Klaipėda, combining academic learning with the experience of Lithuania’s seaside city.
What the Academy offers:

Call for Applications: The Elman Family Visiting Professorship at HKUST (2026–27)
The University of Haifa is pleased to invite applications for the Elman Family Visiting Professorship in Jewish and Israeli Studies at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) for the 2026–27 academic year. This unique opportunity enables UH faculty to teach a course in Jewish or Israeli Studies—ranging from history, philosophy, and literature to politics, society, and contemporary history—at HKUST’s School of Humanities and Social Science. The professorship covers one full term (Fall 2026 or Spring 2027), with HKUST providing a competitive monthly salary, round-trip airfare, housing benefits, and office facilities. Selected faculty will also engage in mentorship, academic collaborations, and broader scholarly contributions during their stay.

2026 call for Visiting scholar Grants
The University of Cincinnati’s International office is pleased to announce the 2026 Call for Visiting Scholar Grants.
The Visiting Scholar Grant includes the scholar’s round-trip airfare to Cincinnati and lodging and daily breakfast accommodations for 7-10 days, paid for by UC International. Depending on the UC faculty/department, the UC host may provide airport transportation and/or some meals. Please discuss this directly with the UC host. The visit must take place during a mutually agreed-upon 7-10 period between January 1-December 31, 2026.
Applicants must identify and connect with a relevant UC department and faculty member who shares interest in the proposed project and agrees to serve as host. Strong applications will demonstrate the UC host’s commitment to the collaboration. The UC faculty host will serve as the primary contact and work with the visiting scholar to develop a visit agenda aligned with the proposal’s goals.
To apply, please submit the 2026 Visiting Scholar Grant Application Form by Friday, October 31, 2025. Applicants will be notified of the results by early December. As part of the online application, the applicant is required to upload the following documents in a single PDF:
- Visit proposal
- Abbreviated CV
- Signed letter of support from the UC host faculty member (acknowledging their responsibilities as host)
- Signed letter of support from the applicant’s supervisor
Successful applicants are expected to submit a report to both UC International and their home institution’s international office within one month of completing the visit. The report should detail the visit, activities undertaken, contacts made, and proposed next steps for continued collaboration.
