They met Prof. Gur Alroey who briefly introduced our university. Later on Prof. Uriel Simonsohn, Head of the Haifa Laboratory for Religious Studies introduced his laboratory established in 2020 with the goal of promoting positive social and civic change. Finally Prof. Dan Tchernov, Director of the Mediterranean Sea Research Center of Israel has briefed the visitors on the latest news on food security and sustainable mariculture.

Italian Ambassador to Israel
HE Ambassador of Italy to Israel, Mr. Sergio Barbanti & Scientific Attaché, Prof. Giuseppe Falini visited the university on March 21, 2024. The visit included an introduction of the university and a tour of two labs.

President of Freie Universität Berlin, Prof. Günter M. Ziegler & President of Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities, Prof. Dr. Christoph Markschies visited the university on Sunday, March 10th, 2024. We discussed possible collaborations in research and teaching based on shared interests in social inequalities, and implementing SDGs and impact.
