Call for Applications: Autumn School 2026 – Sustainability and Design
The Research Group MOVEN invites applications for the Autumn School 2026 – Sustainability and Design, to be held in Leuther Mühle, Nettetal, Germany (near Venlo, the Netherlands), from September 28 to 30, 2026.
The three-day Autumn School brings together researchers and practitioners to explore how design and technology can contribute to more sustainable and desirable futures. The program combines transdisciplinary exchange, critical reflection, and collaborative hands-on work, drawing on perspectives from Human–Computer Interaction (HCI), Design Research, Psychology and Behavior Change, Sustainability, Social Transformation, Media and Innovation Studies, and More-than-Human approaches.

Call for Applications: Advanced Master in Structural Analysis of Monuments and Historical Constructions
The Consortium of leading European Universities and Research Institutions invites applications for the Advanced Master in Structural Analysis of Monuments and Historical Constructions (SAHC).
This is the leading international master’s program on the conservation of heritage structures that combines the most recent advances in research and practical application. It is the winner of the 2017 European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage “Europa Nostra,” was funded by the European Commission for 10 consecutive years, and brings together students from all over the world.
Applications are open until July 20, 2026.
A significant number of scholarships (ranging from 4,000 to 13,000 Euros) are available for students of any nationality.

Seoul International Summer School II (SISS II) 2026 takes place from August 5 to 21, 2026, in Seoul, South Korea.
While SISS I is a four-week program offering two academic tracks, SISS II features special lectures on contemporary Korean topics alongside structured Korean language courses.

Call for Applications: PICAIS Research-in-Residence Fellowships, University of Passau
The Passau International Centre for Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies (PICAIS) at the University of Passau, Germany, invites applications for its Research-in-Residence Fellowships. The program supports internationally established researchers and promising postdoctoral scholars pursuing innovative research projects in collaboration with the University of Passau.
Fellowships support full-time research stays of 2–6 months (longer stays may be possible in exceptional cases). Funding includes accommodation and living expenses, travel and mobility costs, and a contribution to research expenses.
Eligibility:
- Applicants must hold a doctoral degree;
- Applicants must not be current members or employees of the University of Passau;
- Applications must be supported by at least one faculty member of the University of Passau, who will act as the host;
- Researchers from all disciplines represented at the University of Passau are encouraged to apply.

Fulbright International Writing Program – Opportunity for Students

PhD Programs for incoming students
The Idit Fellowship is a four-year multidisciplinary program at the University of Haifa aimed at advancing the next generation of social science researchers in Israel. The program is composed of a select group of PhD students at the Herta & Paul Amir Faculty of Social Sciences. The group acts as a cross-field community to enhance each participant’s personal research and professional development. The goals of the program are to boost the level of training and research of program participants to a level comparable to leading international institutions with the aim that its members will successfully integrate into Israeli and international academies.

Call for Applications: 18th HOPE Meeting With Nobel Laureates
The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) invites PhD students and young scientists to participate in the 18th HOPE Meeting with Nobel Laureates in Yokohama, Japan, from February 28 to March 4, 2027. The event will allow young researchers from the Asia-Pacific and African regions to engage in direct dialogue with leading scientists.
Six participants from Israel will be selected by the Israeli Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology.
Eligibility criteria:
- PhD students or early-career researchers who received their PhD after April 2, 2021;
- Researchers in physics, chemistry, or physiology/medicine;
- Israeli citizens, permanent residents or new immigrants;
- English proficiency.
Funding: JSPS covers the cost of accommodation, local transportation, meals, and travel insurance. Applicants must have secured funding for their airfare and any additional expenses before applying.

Call for Applications: Israel Studies Postdoctoral Fellowship at University of California (2027–2029)
The Younes & Soraya Nazarian Center for Israel Studies at the University of California (UCLA) in Los Angeles invites applications for the 2027–2029 Israel Studies Postdoctoral Fellowship. This two-year fellowship supports outstanding early-career scholars whose research contributes to the study of modern Israel.
During the fellowship, the successful candidate will conduct original research, teach one undergraduate course per academic year, present an annual public lecture, and actively participate in the Nazarian Center’s research seminars and public programs.
Eligibility:
- Applicants must hold a PhD from an accredited university by the start of the fellowship;
- Applicants of all nationalities are eligible;
- Candidates holding permanent full-time tenure-track academic positions are not eligible.

Massada Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) – Call for Applications
The Massada Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) offers one rolling two- to three-year position, with selection made by the Massada Committee in consultation with a field-specific academic panel. The fellowship includes a salary and housing allowance. The 2023–2025 JRF in Law was awarded to Dr Neli Frost, whose research explores the intersection of public and international law with technology, examining how emerging technologies challenge democratic principles and established legal frameworks.

International Summer School 2026 at the University of Connecticut
The University of Connecticut (UConn) invites students from around the world to join its International Summer School 2026, offering a new series of three-credit courses designed to create a truly global classroom experience. Students will explore timely and relevant topics alongside peers from diverse international backgrounds, combining academic enrichment with meaningful cultural exchange. The Seoul Visiting Student Program (SVSP), offered by the University of Seoul, provides students with the opportunity to study in Seoul, South Korea, for one or two semesters (up to one academic year) as fee-paying visiting students.
Designed for students who wish to experience academic life in Korea without a full degree commitment, SVSP allows participants to enroll in up to 20 credits per semester during the spring or fall terms. While the majority of courses are taught in Korean, the program also offers a variety of English-taught courses, enabling students from diverse academic backgrounds to tailor their studies. Applicants must have completed at least two semesters at their home institution, hold a minimum GPA of 2.5/4.0 (or equivalent), and demonstrate a good command of Korean or English (no official language test scores required). Tuition fees range from 2,156,000 to 3,396,600 KRW per semester (approximately USD 1,500–2,350), depending on the department, and are paid directly to the University of Seoul. While on-campus housing is not guaranteed, students may choose from several off-campus accommodation options.
Application deadlines are May 31 for the Fall semester and November 30 for the Spring semester, with candidates required to complete an online application and submit supporting documents by email. International Internship Pilot Program (IIPP) – 2026
Students interested in gaining global research experience are invited to explore the 2026 International Internship Pilot Program in Taiwan. The program offers placements with leading research teams, allowing participants to develop academic and professional skills while experiencing Taiwan’s rich culture and dynamic innovation environment. Eligible undergraduate and graduate students can apply for internships lasting 28–90 days, beginning between June and December 2026.
