Wolk Israel Graduate Fellowship at the Harvard Kennedy School – Center for Public Leadership
The Wolk Israel Graduate Fellowship supports emerging leaders dedicated to Israel’s growth and development. Fellows receive comprehensive financial assistance and participate in a cohort-based leadership program through Harvard Kennedy School’s Center for Public Leadership (CPL).
Eligibility
The fellowship is open to admitted Mid-Career Master in Public Administration (MC/MPA) students from Israel who demonstrate:
- A strong commitment to advancing Israel’s growth and development;
- A record of service in government, the military, the private sector, or other fields where leadership and public impact are evident;
- Leadership potential in the academic, nonprofit, public, or private sectors;
- Demonstrated financial need
The fellowship is awarded through a competitive, merit-based process, with priority given to exceptional candidates who have demonstrated meaningful leadership and service. Six fellows are selected annually.
What the Fellowship Offers
- Support for tuition and fees;
- A stipend to support living expenses during the academic year;
- Cohort-based leadership programming through the Center for Public Leadership;
- Personalized guidance and support from a dedicated program manager.
How to Apply
Applicants must first apply to the MC/MPA program at Harvard Kennedy School. To be considered for fellowship funding, applicants should complete the HKS Financial Aid Application as part of the admissions and financial aid process.

Call for Applications: Israel Studies Postdoctoral Fellowship at University of California (2027-2029)
The Younes & Soraya Nazarian Center for Israel Studies at the University of California (UCLA) in Los Angeles invites applications for the 2027–2029 Israel Studies Postdoctoral Fellowship. This two-year fellowship supports outstanding early-career scholars whose research contributes to the study of modern Israel.
During the fellowship, the successful candidate will conduct original research, teach one undergraduate course per academic year, present an annual public lecture, and actively participate in the Nazarian Center’s research seminars and public programs.
Eligibility:
- Applicants must hold a PhD from an accredited university by the start of the fellowship;
- Applicants of all nationalities are eligible;
- Candidates holding permanent full-time tenure-track academic positions are not eligible.

- Research abstract (up to 150 words);
- Proposed research project title;
- Research proposal (up to 1,500 words);
- Two letters of recommendation;
- Three proposed undergraduate course titles with brief descriptions.

Massada Fellowships Programme – Opportunities for Researchers and Students From Israel
The Israel & Ione Massada Fellowships Program at Worcester College, University of Oxford, supports academic exchange and research collaboration between Israel and Oxford.
The Massada Fund supports a range of opportunities, including:
- Up to five visiting academic fellowships from Israel per year, enabling Israeli scholars to undertake collaborative visits and develop research links with Oxford;
- Up to three collaborative research trips per year by Oxford fellows to Israel, supporting joint research projects and partnerships;
- The Massada Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) – a two- to three-year research position (with selection by the Massada Committee in consultation with a field-specific academic panel). The fellowship includes a salary and housing allowance;
- Up to six graduate scholarships per year;
- The Massada Annual Lecture.
The program is open to scholars and students across a broad range of academic fields and aims to foster inclusive, rigorous academic partnerships between Israeli institutions and the University of Oxford.

Seoul Visiting Student Program
The Seoul Visiting Student Program (SVSP), offered by the University of Seoul, provides students with the opportunity to study in Seoul, South Korea, for one or two semesters (up to one academic year) as fee-paying visiting students.
Designed for students who wish to experience academic life in Korea without a full degree commitment, SVSP allows participants to enroll in up to 20 credits per semester during the spring or fall terms. While the majority of courses are taught in Korean, the program also offers a variety of English-taught courses, enabling students from diverse academic backgrounds to tailor their studies. Applicants must have completed at least two semesters at their home institution, hold a minimum GPA of 2.5/4.0 (or equivalent), and demonstrate a good command of Korean or English (no official language test scores required). Tuition fees range from 2,156,000 to 3,396,600 KRW per semester (approximately USD 1,500–2,350), depending on the department, and are paid directly to the University of Seoul. While on-campus housing is not guaranteed, students may choose from several off-campus accommodation options.
Application deadlines are May 31 for the Fall semester and November 30 for the Spring semester, with candidates required to complete an online application and submit supporting documents by email. This program offers a flexible and enriching pathway for students seeking international academic experience in one of Asia’s most dynamic cities.

Fulbright International Writing Program – Opportunity for Students
The Fulbright International Writing Program offers students the opportunity to participate in an international academic writing experience that brings together participants from around the world. The program is designed to strengthen writing skills, encourage cross-cultural exchange, and support students interested in developing their academic or creative writing in an international setting.

PhD Programs for incoming students
The Idit Fellowship is a four-year multidisciplinary program at the University of Haifa aimed at advancing the next generation of social science researchers in Israel. The program is composed of a select group of PhD students at the Herta & Paul Amir Faculty of Social Sciences. The group acts as a cross-field community to enhance each participant’s personal research and professional development. The goals of the program are to boost the level of training and research of program participants to a level comparable to leading international institutions with the aim that its members will successfully integrate into Israeli and international academies.

Call for Applications: PICAIS Research-in-Residence Fellowships, University of Passau
The Passau International Centre for Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies (PICAIS) at the University of Passau, Germany, invites applications for its Research-in-Residence Fellowships. The program supports internationally established researchers and promising postdoctoral scholars pursuing innovative research projects in collaboration with the University of Passau.
Fellowships support full-time research stays of 2–6 months (longer stays may be possible in exceptional cases). Funding includes accommodation and living expenses, travel and mobility costs, and a contribution to research expenses.
Eligibility:
- Applicants must hold a doctoral degree;
- Applicants must not be current members or employees of the University of Passau;
- Applications must be supported by at least one faculty member of the University of Passau, who will act as the host;
- Researchers from all disciplines represented at the University of Passau are encouraged to apply.
