Division of Global Engagement

The Division of Global Engagement and the Research Authority invite researchers at the University of Haifa to submit proposals for funding under the University of Haifa–University of Connecticut Joint Research Fund. This initiative aims to encourage and support new collaborative research partnerships between scholars at both institutions, with a focus on projects that demonstrate strong potential for significant research outcomes and future external funding opportunities.

The fund supports joint research activities such as pilot studies, feasibility research, collaborative publications, workshops, and the development of joint research programs. Proposals must include a Principal Investigator from the University of Haifa and a Principal Investigator from the University of Connecticut, and projects will be funded for a period of 18 months starting from June 2026.

Researchers from all academic disciplines are encouraged to apply.
