Call for Applications: Financial Support for Student Participation in International Competitions
The Division of Global Engagement at the University of Haifa invites faculty members accompanying groups of students to international academic or scientific competitions abroad to apply for funding to support student participation. Eligible applications must involve student teams that have successfully passed an initial selection stage in the competition. Funding may cover flights, accommodation, registration fees, and, where applicable, travel and accommodation for the course instructor (lecturer rank only).
Applications must be submitted in two parts: completion of an online application form, and submission of a detailed budget by email to Tzohar1@univ.haifa.ac.il, including official confirmation or invitation to the competition. Applications will be reviewed based on academic excellence, the competition’s international standing, its contribution to the students and the University, and budget availability. The application deadline is January 28, 2026, at 11:00 AM, with notifications sent in early February 2026.
