Bio:<\/h3>

Prof. Maeera Shreiber<\/strong> is an internationally respected scholar of modern and contemporary poetry, Jewish-American literature<\/strong>, poetics, translation studies, and feminist criticism. Her interdisciplinary research explores the intersections of language, faith, and poetics, bridging poetics, theology, translation studies, and critical theory.<\/p>

Prof. Maeera Shreiber is the author of several influential books, including Holy Envy: Writing in the Jewish Christian Borderzone<\/em> (Fordham University Press, 2022), Singing in a Strange Land: A Jewish American Poetics<\/em> (Stanford University Press, 2007), and the co-editor of Dwelling in Possibility: Women Poets and Critics on Poetry<\/em> (Cornell University Press, 1997). Her current research project, Stealing into the Prayerbook: Poetry, Prayer, and Translation<\/em>, examines the intersections of poetry, prayer, and translation.<\/p>
