Prof. Iain D.\u00a0Couzin<\/strong>\u00a0is a world-leading scholar in the study of collective animal behavior, swarm intelligence, and biodiversity. He serves as Director at the Max Planck Institute of Animal Behavior<\/strong> and is internationally recognized for his interdisciplinary approach, integrating biology, physics, computation, and systems science to understand how coordinated group behavior\u00a0emerges\u00a0in animals.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

He has published extensively in leading scientific journals, including\u00a0<\/span>Nature<\/span><\/i>,\u00a0<\/span>Science<\/span><\/i>, and\u00a0<\/span>PNAS<\/span><\/i>, and his research has fundamentally reshaped our understanding of collective decision-making, information transfer, and resilience in animal groups.
