This institution integrates advanced technology into research, education and patient care, and integrates translational research into undergraduate curriculum. Prof. Peleg delivered a keynote on her EU-funded research that developed personalized clinical-guideline-based and AI-based decision-support methods and systems and gave a 2-day hands-on workshop where she taught researchers and clinicians on how to use AI methods to implement behavioral theories that help patients start recommended health habits. The event included a 5-day poster exhibition by 1000 undergraduate medical students and 390 post-graduate students, showcasing 4170 research posters, for which the medical college entered the American Book of World Records.
