We are pleased to announce the opening of a new call for academic and administrative staff within the framework of the ERASMUS+ program for the academic year 2025-2026.<\/p>

The Division of Global Engagement and the Research Authority at the University of Haifa invite researchers to submit proposals for funding Joint Research with Johannes Gutenberg University<\/strong> Mainz for 2026. The Division of Global Engagement and the Research Authority invite researchers at the University of Haifa to submit proposals for funding under the University of Haifa\u2013University of Connecticut Joint Research Fund<\/strong>. This initiative aims to encourage and support new collaborative research partnerships between scholars at both institutions, with a focus on projects that demonstrate strong potential for significant research outcomes and future external funding opportunities.<\/p>

\u00a0Proposals must include a Principal Investigator from the University of Haifa and a Principal Investigator from the University of Connecticut<\/strong>, and projects will be funded for a period of 18 months starting from June 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>

Researchers from all academic disciplines are encouraged to apply.<\/p>

GIF Young Scientists\u2019 Meetings (GYSM) \u2013 Funding Opportunity<\/h3>

Supported by the German-Israel Foundation, the GIF Young Scientists\u2019 Meetings (GYSM)<\/strong> fund small, focused 2\u20133 day workshops that bring together early-career researchers from Israel and Germany to foster long-term bilateral collaboration. The program offers a multidisciplinary setting to explore social and cultural transformation<\/strong>, sustainability, and heritage through field research, design thinking, and engagement with the Lake Como innovation ecosystem.<\/p>

The Massada Fellowship<\/strong> Program<\/strong> supports short-term (up to three weeks) research visits between scholars at Israeli institutions and the University of Oxford, aimed at fostering new or ongoing academic collaborations. Open to all disciplines, the program accepts rolling applications that include short bios of both partners, a brief project description, and proposed visit dates. Up to five new fellowships and one returning fellowship are awarded annually, with funding of up to \u00a34,500 covering travel and related expenses. Priority is given to collaborations involving fellows from Worcester College, Oxford, though this is not mandatory.<\/p>
