Call for HAIFellow Program 2026–2027

The Division for Global Engagement is delighted to announce the launch of the second cohort of the HAIFellow Program for 2026–2027. We are excited to begin a new cycle of academic exchange that will bring outstanding international scholars to our community and further strengthen collaboration in research and teaching. We look forward to another inspiring year of partnership and global engagement.

Prof. Judy Kay – HAIFellow Visiting Scholar

As part of the HAIFellow Program, the University of Haifa recently hosted Prof. Judy Kay from the University of Sydney. During her visit, Prof.Kay engaged in a series of academic activities, including seminars, meetings with faculty members and students and collaborative discussions with the Faculty of Information Systems and related research groups. She delivered a faculty seminar and participated in discussions on topics such as artificial intelligence in education, human–computer interaction, and emerging technologies in teaching and learning. Her visit provided valuable opportunities for academic exchange and strengthened research connections.

International Conference Funding

The Division of Global Engagement is pleased to announce the recipients of the International Conference Funding, supporting University of Haifa faculty in hosting international academic conferences on campus. The conferences span a wide range of disciplines, including law, social sciences, design, marine sciences, health, and the humanities. By bringing leading scholars and researchers from around the world to the University of Haifa, these conferences encourage interdisciplinary dialogue, strengthen global academic collaboration, and reinforce the university’s role as a hub for innovative research and scholarly exchange.

Winning Academic Course Funding

The Division of Global Engagement is pleased to announce the recipients of the Academic Course Funding initiative, supporting University of Haifa faculty in developing and delivering internationally oriented courses in collaboration with partner institutions abroad. The selected courses span a variety of disciplines, including fashion design, law and technology policy, public administration, and psychotherapy research,and will take place in countries such as India, Canada, Georgia, Germany, and the United Kingdom.

The program supports faculty members in leading academic activities and courses abroad together with their students, creating immersive, hands-on learning experiences in international settings. This initiative aims to promote global academic collaboration while expanding meaningful learning opportunities for both students and faculty.
