       Ambassador  of Belgium 

The Ambassador of Belgium, H.E. Mr. Stefaan Thijs, visited the University of Haifa last month. The visit included a fruitful discussion on strengthening academic collaboration with Belgian universities, with the participation of Rector Maroun and Vice President for Research Prof. Gazal-Ayal. The delegation also toured the Hecht Museum and experienced our vibrant campus environment.

University of Connecticut and University of Minnesota

The University of Haifa’s Division of Global Engagement had the pleasure of welcoming the Provost of the University of Connecticut, Prof. Anne D'Alleva, and a Regent from the University of Minnesota, Mr. James T. Farnsworth. The visit was facilitated by the United States-Israel Business Alliance. The visit involved fruitful discussions with university leadership, the International School, and several key academic departments. This visit underscored our ongoing dedication to fostering global partnerships and driving forward innovation in higher education.

University of Cincinnati Visit

The University of Haifa was honored to welcome a distinguished large delegation from the University of Cincinnati, a vibrant two-day visit filled with collaboration, cultural exchange, and meaningful dialogue. The agenda included inspiring meetings with our International School, a unique lecture from our Law Faculty, and an unforgettable session with the Arab-Jewish Orchestra. From shared meals to engaging discussions with various faculty, this visit was a true celebration of academic partnership and global connection. We look forward to building on this exciting relationship.

“Only the Violins Remain – Alma & Arnold Rosé” Exhibition at the University of Haifa

In commemoration of Yom HaShoah VeHagevurah, the Division of Global Engagement was honored to participate in the opening of the exhibition “Only the Violins Remain – Alma & Arnold Rosé”. Presented in collaboration with the Austrian Embassy in Tel Aviv and the Austrian Cultural Forum, the event took place at the Younes & Soraya Nazarian Library and paid tribute to the remarkable story of Alma and Arnold Rosé, two gifted violinists whose legacy continues to resonate through history.

The event served as a powerful moment of remembrance, resilience, and reflection.
