Seventeen Ultra-orthodox students from the Public Administration and Policy program at the School of Political Sciences participated in a study tour to Berlin. The tour was an important part of the "Public Administration in Comparative Perspective" course, led by Dr. Valerie Isaak, and included meetings focused on policy design and implementation, as well as the role of authorities in executing policies. The group visited key sites, including the Platform 17 Memorial, the Berlin Wall sites, the Holocaust Memorial, the Israeli Embassy in Germany, the Parliament, House of Wannsee Conference, the Jewish Museum, and more. As part of their preparation, the students studied Germany and the European Union, participated in a virtual tour of Yad Vashem, and were tasked with leading the visit by preparing information about the sites on the itinerary. |
